CARPET AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

Fairy Dust caters for any home carpet and upholstery cleaning you may need, including an optional carpet-shield protection which, when applied, will help to resist wet and dry stains.  We can do anything from one small carpet to a completely carpeted house, one armchair or sofa to complete suites and rugs.

There is no need for you to empty your rooms of furniture as we can deal with this. Just sit back, relax and let us do the work. Heavily furnished rooms are not a problem; although it is best to state at the outset what needs moving to ensure we are fully prepared. (Depending on the amount of furniture to be moved there may be a surcharge fee.) 

Our Carpet Cleaning Machine Works in 3 Different Stages! 

·       INJECT - Getting enough cleaning solution (and the right cleaning solution) down into the carpet to loosen and suspend dirt

·       AGITATE – Our carpet cleaner is different from most machines which have rotary brushes and can have a matting effect. The back and forth motion of our machines unique vibrating brush allows thorough cleaning of each fibre. The brush gets down in between the fibres to loosen dirt and grime. At the same time it helps raise the carpet nap to allow the vacuum a clear path to pull up the dirt and liquid.

·       EXTRACT - Powerful vacuuming action is essential to effective cleaning, without it, dirt and excessive moisture are left behind.

 Our Fees Are:

·        Each carpet is assessed on size,stains and condition.  (An average room 14ft by 12ft £25)

·        3p per sq ft Optional Carpet Shield Protection (average room 14ft x 12ft cost £5)

·        £1.50 per step for staircases

·        £15 per seat for upholstery. (three seater sofa cost £45 ,an armchair £15)

·        £12 per seat for upholstery when 3 or more seats required.

·        £10- £20 per room moving furniture charge, depending on amount of furnishings.

          If however there is only limited light furniture to be moved, there will be no charge.

Fairy Dust however cannot clean natural fibre oriental rugs (silk or wool), hand- loomed wool rugs, braided rugs, sisal or jute carpets. When cleaning upholstery we do not clean silk, Haitian cotton, velour, brushed corduroy, leather, non-colourfast fabrics.
